She also spearheads Prolawgue.com, a platform that bridges the nexus of business, tech, and law. Its mission is to democratize knowledge, empowering the next wave of changemakers and innovators within the legal sector. Having been a practicing lawyer, Shreya is deeply familiar with the intricacies of the legal landscape. Drawing from this experience, she consistently prioritizes lawyers at the heart of innovation, rather than positioning technology as the sole driving force. Recognised amongst ’30 Legal Tech Innovators to Follow in APAC’ and ’30 Women Legal Innovators in Asia to Follow’, Shreya strives to reimagine law through the lens of technology.  In her journey, Shreya has consistently discovered: Lawyers aren’t resistant to technology; they’re in search of impactful innovations tailored to their distinct professional realm.

I am a General Counsel, policy advisor, author and founder working at the intersection of law, emerging technologies and governance.  For over 20 years, I have practised law across jurisdictions, maintaining my legal base in Portugal while operating internationally from the Netherlands. My work extends into AI, quantum technologies, cybersecurity, ethics and public policy, and into the human questions that sit underneath all of them. I bring a 360° perspective to complexity. I connect legal, technological, institutional and human dimensions to help organisations and policymakers anticipate change, navigate uncertainty and translate risk into responsible, strategic action. But I am more than one thing, and I have always worked that way. I am a practising lawyer and General Counsel advising across jurisdictions. A policy voice contributing to European debates as they unfold. A mediator and trainer working with people and organisations navigating conflict and transformation. A board member in quantum development and in European legal and technology organisations. The founder of the Luso-Dutch Chamber of Commerce and Industry. And through executive education, a lecturer and programme director. I founded Humanity of Things Agency to bring this thinking together. I also write. I have contributed to collective books on law, education and women. I write a regular blog and column, and I am launching a podcast. These are not side projects. They are where ideas reach people outside institutional walls. I keep learning deliberately. I hold professional certifications across multiple disciplines and continue adding to them. I create courses and advise universities on their programmes. Teaching is where future decision-makers are formed. Speaking is where systems are questioned in public. Writing is where ideas move beyond closed rooms. Learning is how I remain honest about what I do not yet know. My work is grounded not only in law and technology, but also in history, art and literature. These are not decorative interests. They are how I think. Who are we becoming, and what must we protect? Remaining static has never been an option.

BRIAN W TANG is founding executive director of Law, Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship Lab, The University of Hong Kong’s interdisciplinary and experiential programme which has received various international awards for its industry collaboration innovations, including the 2023 Edtech Heroes Award for Stakeholder Engagement (Higher Education).  Brian was awarded the Faculty of Law’s 2022 Outstanding Teaching Award, is an Advance HE Fellow and his LITE Lab students have also won numerous legal innovation & technology competitions in the US and Germany.   Brian’s courses were one of the first from law schools worldwide to incorporate GenAI and is in line with the Law Society of Hong Kong’s 2024 recommendations. His current wide-ranging research areas cover AI governance, emerging capital markets for tokenized securities and carbon credits, sustainable financing and the role and impact of technology on the future delivery of legal services and education. Featured in the future of work book Future Proof, Brian is also co-chair of Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation & Technology Association (ALITA), APAC regional board member of Global Alliance of Impact Lawyers and invited member of the Hong Kong Department of Justice Consultation Group on LawTech Development. Prior to joining HKU, Brian practiced law at international law firms in New York and Australia as well as at a global investment bank in Hong Kong. Brian also led the Regtech initiatives of the Fintech Association of Hong Kong and organized Hong Kong’s first lawtech hackathon (whose top team won the New York grand finals). Brian graduated with an LLM from New York University School of Law and BA/LLB from The University of Western Australia.

Marcelo is a dual-qualified dispute resolution solicitor at Mishcon de Reya with two decades of experience across different jurisdictions as a litigator, adviser and lecturer. As a litigator, he has acted for companies, governments, and individuals. As an adviser, he has assisted legislators, prosecutors, board members, and executives. As a lecturer, he has spoken on subjects ranging from constitutional and tax law to innovation, sustainability, and AI.

Group General Counsel, Chief compliance officer and corporate secretary for leading climate sustainability and carbon project expert South Pole.  Member of the executive committee.  In my day to day role I advise on fundraising, board management and corporate governance, investigations and litigation, regulatory and public affairs, strategic M&A, JVs, impact loans, executive incentives, climate tech investments, structured carbon deals and carbon funds. Geoffrey believes that effective compliance isn’t just about following rules—it’s about building a culture of integrity that supports long-term business success. As Assistant General Counsel and CCO at Sumitomo Electric Finance UK PLC, he leads a dedicated team supporting 70+ subsidiaries across the EMEA region. His approach is collaborative: he works closely with business leaders to integrate ethics into daily operations, whether through modernizing tax evasion prevention or refining contract wording to protect against evolving threats. Having previously navigated the high-stakes regulatory world of airline operations, he is adept at translating complex legal requirements into actionable business strategies. He’s passionate about using technology and clear communication to make compliance accessible, effective, and a competitive advantage.

Harry Borovick is General Counsel and AI Governance Officer at Luminance, where he leads the global legal and company secretarial function for a fast‑growing legal tech business providing AI-powered solutions for document analysis and review. He is the author of “AI and the Law: A Practical Guide to Using Artificial Intelligence Safely”, co-authored the AI Guidelines for the CIaRB, and serves as Programme Director of the AI Governance Leadership Programme at King’s College London. He also teaches at institutions including UC Law San Francisco, Queen Mary University of London, and BARBRI Global.

Dan has acted for many years as in-house counsel in financial services organisations, running global investigations and litigation. He has worked on the purchase and implementation of legal AI products as well as being a regular user.

Ilan is Vice President of Investigations and Regulatory Response at Lineal, where he leads the integration of advanced technology into complex investigations and regulatory matters. Drawing on more than 22 years of experience in global investigations, competition law and compliance strategy, he drives innovative, AI enabled approaches that enhance efficiency, defensibility and strategic insight across high-stakes cases. A former EU and Competition Law solicitor with deep experience in risk mitigation and regulatory response, Ilan combines legal expertise with cutting edge technology to help clients navigate complex cross-border investigations and enforcement actions.

Founder of GRACIOTTI Consulting, author of the book entitled “STRATEGIC GOVERNANCE FOR LAW FIRMS”; edited in three languages (Portuguese, English and Italian), consultant in the Governance, Planning and Organization areas, with sound knowledge in Information Technology and Knowledge Management. Through its close involvement in the phases of planning, implementation and operation of nearly a dozen medium and large size firms over the last 35 years, José Paulo accumulated an extensive experience, more specifically, knowledge of the unique corporate culture that guides the most distinguished and successful law firms in Brazil. A further characteristic of Jose Paulo is his comprehensive international expertise in providing guidance on management and strategic orientation focused on legal practice management and alignment to the requirements of American and European law firms. Kenneth Damien is an award-winning technology lawyer and AI governance specialist working at the intersection of law, technology and institutional risk. He currently advises BlackRock, via Re:Link (Linklaters), as a Privacy and Technology SME within the Digital Enterprise Legal team and the BlackRock AI Working Group, focusing on AI compliance and risk strategy. He has also held previous roles at Google Cloud and SoftBank’s Vision Fund working on a range of cross-ecosystem projects spanning technology platforms, capital and emerging innovation.  Ken regularly moderates and convenes conversations across law, technology, and policy with a particular interest in how AI is reshaping industries, institutions, and organisational decision-making. He is the recipient of the Internet 2.0 Outstanding Leadership Award and has spoken internationally on AI governance and technology risk, including delivering a keynote ‘“Singularity Games: Upgrading Your Risk Strategy in the AI Era”’ at the Internet 2.0 Conference.

Chioma Wilson-Dike is a legal innovation professional and ecosystem builder working at the intersection of law, technology and evolving regulatory systems. She is the founder of the Nigerian LegalTech Network (NLTN), an initiative focused on accelerating the adoption of legal technology and fostering collaboration between lawyers, technologists and innovators across emerging markets. Her work centres on bridging the gap between traditional legal practice and technology-driven approaches, with a particular interest in how legal systems adapt to digital transformation. She has been actively involved in convening conversations, supporting emerging talent and creating platforms that connect legal professionals to new ways of working. Chioma was recognised as a 2026 ILTA Most Influential Women in Legal Tech honouree, reflecting her growing impact within the global legal technology ecosystem. She has also contributed to international discussions on legal innovation through speaking engagements at platforms such as Legal Geek London and the Global LegalTech Hub, where she explores the future of legal practice and technology-enabled legal systems.
